This one hour presentation will equip participants with information regarding why the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services (AASAS) Prevalence Study was undertaken, the methods used, and the findings that were gathered. These findings are vital to understanding how sexual violence presents across the lifespan of Albertans, and highlights areas for further study and exploration. Understanding how truly prevalent sexual violence is in Alberta, we can better prevent, respond to, and support those who have been harmed in this way by others. The webinar will be presented by Corinne Ofstie, director of strategic initiatives with AASAS, and Tiffany Goebel, community development associate at AASAS.
